Default History of www_passlabs_com only listed until 2008 about WayBackMachine - why ??

I note, that about
Internet Archive Wayback Machine
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.passlabs.com
the history of passlabs is listed only until May 12, 2008.
Wat is the reason for stopping the recording for storage at which time ?
The sites of
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.passdiy.com
are listed until Aug. 22, 2008
because the implementation/integration of this sites about "passlabs" - so I think.

I would guess intelectual property was freely available on the site previous to that time. As I'm sure you realize, many unscrupulous types have taken this information and used it illegally.

In August 2008, a policy change took place:

Quote:
Since August 2008 sites have to be listed on the Open Directory in order to be included.
Wayback Machine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Open Directory Project - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

See also the FAQ of "Wayback Machine":

Quote:
How can I get my site included in the Wayback Machine?
....
Method 1: If you have a web site, and you would like to ensure that it is saved for posterity in the Internet Archive, and you've searched wayback and found no results, you can follow these instructions at Alexa's site. Or go directly to the Open Directory site and add your site.

To add your site to the Open Directory, go to ODP - Open Directory Project, find the category your site should be listed in, and click the "Add URL" link at the top of the page. We highly recommend reading their submission guidelines first at Submitting a Site to The Open Directory Project.
Internet Archive Frequently Asked Questions

I suspect that the Pass sites are not yet listed in "Open Directory".
