Default F5 from Brians pcb's !

Has anyone built a F5 based on these boards ? If so could you please post the details and/or a simple stuffing guide ? The mini-A is a little to small for ineffiecent speakers where the F5 may be just right ! I'm basically looking for something with a little more power but wont break the bank building it ! Any help would be greatily appreciated Thank-you

Another set of PCB you could use is the F5 board from the diyaudio store, I just ordered a set there and a set of Aleph J boards from the groupbuy-thread to test which I like most =)

Why not try using the mini aleph board to build the A30? More parts than F5 but no bias to blow up your fets. Just stuff and its ready to go. Just make sure you get matched MOSFETS.

Building an F5 is not going to happen using his boards.

Aleph 3 or Aleph 30

The F5 is certainly easier and cheaper to build than an Aleph

Maybe you could post a link to these boards?

Cheaper, but not easier. I blew up a couple MOSFETS trying to adjust the bias.

Forgot to turn bias to minimum before first turn-on? Is a popular mistake

Otherwise there's something wrong with the potentiometer.
