grounding schemes - Page 2

The book "Grounding and Shielding Techniques in Instrumentation" by Morrison is a classic. Motchenbacher & Fitchen "Low-noise Electronic Design" also has some info on the subject but does not specifically address it. I haven't read Clayton's "Introduction to Electromagnetic Compatibility" yet but this is also supposed to be good. Also, JAES, June, 1994, Vol 43(6) has a truly excellent series of articles on grounding, shielding and equipment interconnection. Highly recommended. Finally, there was also a great Analog Devices application note by Paul Brokaw called "An I.C. Amplifier user's Guide to Decoupling, Grounding and making things Go Right for Change." It's several years old but you might find it on AD's website.

If you want a good article on shielding check out Electronics World December 2001 and January 2002 they've got a very good not too detailed article that explains most of what you might like to know.
