Has anyone considered building a complete preamp solution, ie B1 passive + Pearl 2 phono preamp with a partitioned single box but different separate power supplies?
Also is there a likely payoff for building quieter current source for the cascoded phone preamp stage 1? One could use for example a buried zener voltage reference instead of picking of the regulated power supply. How about a lower impedance DCPS like the Jung 2003 super regulator design? thanks Tom Intrator |
