Yes, it's MOSFET Source Follower, resistor loaded, battery biased. Input and output are capacitor coupled. Very similar to SEWA project. 10W power figure is far too optimistic.

Yes, and it would be an idea to offer such massive (pre-fabricated) alu devices for amplifier envelopes and heatsink at the same time (for the aim of evaluation of different amplifier topologies).
Perhaps such companies are already on the marked but I don't find the right terms therefore for google.

Concerning this product I miss a choke coil and I don't like it in general, when in high quality products for audio the main transformer is mounted near by the components for amplifiing.
