Hi, I'm building two aleph 2 and welded my pcbs with classic/cheap tin.
Do you think it could have any influence on the sound of my monoblocks? Do I have to reweld my pcb with better solder like furutech, etc.....? Cordially, Pierre |

I'd say allthough, that welding the pcbs is perhaps going a little into extremes. Soldering will do absolutely fine...

Hi, thank you for your answers, you confirm what i think.
A friend said me that it was very important but I was a bit sceptic about it. I have another question. When I started to build my monoblocks I bought no matched irfp240s and I saw in forums that it was very important to match them. Do you think I can built aleph 2 with the no matched irfp and buy the matched transistors when I'll get the money? What influence does it have on the sound? Cordially, Pierre |
