I'm building F5 amplifier and want to use CRC schematic in PSU.
For inductors I have 1mH coils with only ten turns on a ferrite ring. So the magnetic conductivity of that ring is very high. I know that such inductors are unacceptable in loudspeaker crossovers because of their bad hysteresis but what's about PSUs? |

They work well, although I have seen instances in very
large power supplies where the inrush current made them fracture with some dramatic noises.

Does that equate to fewer mH resulting from an air gapped magnetic circuit?
