Yeah, I think Nelsons suggestion was different I know I saved it will try to search a bit deeper hmm, I have saved so much I cant anything might be that it was actually your schematic that was posted back then |

Cascoded output stages are dynamic allright, but there's sort of a veil around it, ime. Example is Mr Thagard's A100 design, early 90s, with guidelines from Paps. (still haven't stumbled on someone else who built them though)" haha-the comment was about output stages! Check the A75 article. Never heard of the A100 -- was that the design described in the A75 article that was modified to become the A75? Unfortunately, I don't know if I've ever listened to an amp with a cascoded output stage---if only I didn't have to work for living. I think a cascoded F5 would be something to hear. JJ |
