Is it possible to realize an A5 with a MOSFET IRFP460 ???

If you were going to use different devices I would also consider toshiba and ixys.
If money was not an issue, then I would also check out semisouth parts. |

Cause I 63 IRFP460 in stock.
The datasheet of the two seem very close. PS: sorry for my English I am French. |

That would probably not be a good idea. The IRFp240 has an input capacitance
( ciss ) of 1275pf the ciss of the IRFp460 is 4200pf. so those p460's will be a lot harder to drive. |

IRFP460 will work but it might not be optimal due to the high capacitance.
I used `460s in my first Mini-A and some other experimental SE amps because I have a whole lot of them that I got for free. |
