Anyone like to guess the C/W rating of that heatsink?
Creative solution! A prime example of thinking outside the box IMO.
Yeah! Not for square heads!!
I own trying to read English. To communicate with everyone. Thanks for all the encouragement. Aluminium for a Class A Amplifier expensive. I am unable to purchase if possible. Only the old wheels. I think that would be replacement. Thanks again and good friendships with other members of the web this

Actually, maybe not such a good idea... a lot depends on how hot it actually gets after being run for a few hours or more. Of course if you never run for a few hours, it does not matter.
The auto rim will have a high thermal mass, but beyond that point it probably does not actually cool via convection very well... so IF the rim gets hot, then it could get to the point where it is a problem...
Watdiy, place your fingers on the mosfets after it has run for a while, IF it feels too hot to keep your fingers on the mosfets then it is not good. IF it is OK to keep your fingers on the mosfets then you are good.
Simple test.
