shunt reg for relays is ....... funny ;
in case that you use simple 7805 for them , you could save place for both xformers in front this way - just bad engineering practice - putting xformer near input connectors

My B1 is still under evaluatiion and I'm experimenting with caps but its working beautifully with the Aleph 4.

Merlin - That looks nice! I like the small case.
The batteries should work well, and at some future point you could always whip up a regulated supply for comparison. Do report back with your impressions of your neat new gain stage! |
