146 Feet but got loads of trubles converting that to meters evvery time I got past a certain point I have to turn a corner and loose count. And I am only size 7 ![]() Joke right 50 meters shuld do nicely but calculator came up with 0.36 R Had 2 on the mule cooper came by the kilo so I got 2 kilos and it was 2.5 mm square. Not a blody clue of how meny henries and they look crap as right pain to bend and wind nicely. PS tanks for calculator I sure it be handy. PSS How do you mannage to find this stuff and remember where it is? |

Not Really....
Air core By the way, the advantage of air core as opposed to ferrite core is that they have constant inductance irrespective of load. Of course in a class A amp that argument is diluted because current is essentially allways the same....well almost !
