What are these connections. Are they removable/plugable?

Thanks guys :D

WalterW: I couldn't find a red softstart board when I built this and it actually still annoys me a little  I don't think I'll switch it though - I have too many other projects waiting.

Audiosan: Yes, but there is isolation (nylon bushings) that you can't see to prevent shorted turns (I guess that is what you are worried about?)

Ticktock: The rectifiers are soft-recovery so I skipped the snubbers :)

/U.

Edit: Bob: They are just angled 1/4" connectors, so yes they are removable. They make the cable routing a little neater (not that I'll win any prizes here ;)) when using stiff/thick cable.

Hello together,
Do you have a source for the heatsinks? They look massive!
Please, see next answer (last sentence).

If one enjoys a 2 x 2 feet amp case with really unfavorable thermal efficiency.
Very pretty, but unrational.

Did Alex - Der Yeti post what the temperature of his design is at the 200W dissipation level of the Aleph-J ?
I don't know how much it is, Alex said it to me but i don't remember.

So, i asked Alex via mail and wait for a respond. Some other pics from Alex.
