Uhm, how is it going?

At the moment I am moving inventory from one location to another,
which occupies most of the month. Also, SL requested some details
to his crossover, plus LX-mini +2 additions.

However, there is progress. The DIY versions of the SL crossover and
a version of B4 should be in the store in a month or so, starting with just
the pcb + Jfets kit, to be followed by more complete w/ parts versions.

And there will also be a 3 way crossover version and the Galaxy 2u 230x230
chassis is being prepped for a set of standard holes for crossovers.

Best of all, I have worked up a very good buffer that doesn't require the
Toshibas/Linear Systems Jfets, so the costs will be kept low - board + Jfets
in the region of $100.

For those with big budgets, there will also be Toshiba/LS versions.

Mr. Pass,

I'm also in the same pool with others. Patiently waiting for the kits arrive in store anytime soon. Just out of curiosity, my sole DIY focus at the current state is OB speaker, trying to get the best sound out of it. Currently, i'm using SAL FR driver + 2 15'' Eminence Beta for each speaker

What would be the best Xover kit that I will be looking at ? Is it the B4 DIY kit version ? or something else ?

Btw, I like the idea of buffer version that does not require Toshiba/Linear system Jfets. Not that I don't like Toshiba Jfets, I love them but the budget could be huge looking at so many N and P Toshiba Jfets for the Xover ckt.

Best regards,
Tom
