Could the mercury-vapored lamp be used in the Zen-Enlightment project?
They are rated 500W or 1000W. If ok, I will take a try. Thanks for response.

Not ok at all. It won't work. Mercury lamps and all other gas discharge lamps need a special ballast to run them. You need to use an incandescent lamp.
