Default 110 to 220volt conversion?

Anybody got schematics on converting a Pass Labs X250 from 110 to 220 volts?
What do you have to do? Is it a big deal?

It shouldn't be a big deal - no I should imagine that the mains transformer used has two 110V primaries wired in parallel for 110V use. To convert it to 220V you'll need to connect both primaries in series (start to finish, they need to be in phase to work properly). A change of mains fuse to approximately half the current rating of the fuse used at 110V would be handy for safety reasons.

Don't take this as gospel though as i'm not at all sure if there are other circuits that are powered from the mains side rather that transformer secondary.

The X250 was shipped with dual primaries, and so it can be
re-tapped to 240V, and possibly to 220V. Because of the
potential for shock and/or fire, the change should be done by
a qualified technician.

More specific information can be obtained from PL.
