Here is a small /simple question - one about taste.
I'd be interested to hear what amps configuration some of you would think of. Here is the matter : four amps, F2, J2, F3, F5 A four way loudspeaker (yes i know, best would be to have one unique driver, simple set up and elegant design as the FW are), crossover frequency dc - 630hz low 630hz - 1250hz low medium 1250hz - 6300hz high med 6300hz - tweeter which amps would you assign to what frequency ? Just matter of curiosity Best |

The one and only

The F5 gets the bottom end with most woofer systems.
Maybe also the top, depending on the tweeter and your taste.

That is what I'm trying to decide :
- Use the F5 for woofer, with more damping - use the F2 for high, but the F5 with its wide high range has a argument. I only notice the F2 has less noise than the F5 (20uV vs 60uV) and with tweeter with more than 100db spl and not such a big listening room... But I need to listen more, especially with cords instruments with lots of harmonic... let's see, or rather let's hear.... ![]() I'll probably settle for the J2 in the low medium and the F3 in the high medium thanks anyway - for your comments and your amps |
