Hello,
I keep meening to finish up my Perl Phono build, and have been looking for a logo to engrave on to the front panel. I can find the "Pass" logo, but havent seen anything specific to the Phono Preamp. Is there no specific "Perl" logo, or am i just not seeing the wood for the trees? Thanks, julian

The Pearl is a DIY Pass project.
If you ask Nelson, you may be granted a PassDIY sticker for it. Those stickers are kinda neat. Magura

Thank you, but...
Im going to end up using a cnc router to cut the front panel anyhow, so i may as well engrave somthing nice whilst im at it - and, plus, i like engraving more than stickers. Maybee i can just digitise the sticker? I suspect my friend probably pocketed the stickers when he ordered the boards though! : ) (we ordered two sets, one set each) julian

I'm going to have a Mother-of-Pearl 2 inlaid in a wooden face plate for my Pearl 2 build when the boards are ready, with a PASSDIY sticker on back, of course!

If you have given birth to this build then perhaps the logo should say "Mother of Perl" !!!
(Yes, it's a play on words. Yes I know pearl is not perl. OK, only joking, go easy on the new member. OK, I'll get my coat... the side door is it?) |
