I have just discovered the follow Sanyo patent by accident while searching to informations about SANYO audio power BjTs

Patent US20090315618

A new approach from SANYO for a current mirror topology.
New or old stuff - that is the question

as anything even existent is patented, perhaps stinius could patent
the discussion about it in diy audio..he seems the first..

Is it just me, or is the novelty based on the use of a Mosfet
instead of the usual bipolar?

If so, I need to rush out my tube version before someone
else gets to it.

I think i will patent the current-mirror version using copper-cables/copper-paths on a printed circuitboard, in the connection between the active devices.
Prior art doesnt seem to be any problem when applying for a patent. Why not patent the wheel when we are at it. Think of all royalies from the car-industry!!!!
