DigiKey is a pita to shop small quantities from, from overseas.
10 Leds will cost equal to 500+ in shipping...

Stop worrying about it and buy more vinyl -- I found some great stuff today.

I did not think the led was critical. :-)

What you buying? Mark Kozelek "The Finally" mint, unopened for $9 was a recent steal! Also a near mint Keith Jarrett Lausanne Bremen solo concerts box set for $12. Solo, acoustic music really showcases the Pearl 2!

I found some small orchestra Scott Joplin that I didn't have, a nice stereo Xavier Cugat, Asleep at the Wheel (a western swing band that is fantastic) , and some so-cheesy-it's-actually-very-good Disco Star Wars.

Nice. Some good ideas - Xavier Cugat. You might like the Cal Tjader Trio Record Store Day 2013 10". I see online still for ~$15.

My neighbor with 5000+ records wants to do a Father's day weekend trip to the Boston/Cambridge record shops. More damage to come.

I received the last two from the remaster series from Kraftwerk yesterday. Sound track from Blade Runner by Vangelis should arrive in a few weeks. I'm awaiting some reviews to see if the re-release of Eliminator by ZZ Top is any good. In between, I'm thinking about new cartridges to make my Pearl sound even sweeter :-)

Yes, with Digikey, at least over here, you have to order 65 euro to get free shipping, so it is no source for small quantities. But I think the LED is not critical in the Pearl, so probably any red would do.

Heresy! Shouldn't it be "Pass Labs blue"?

As it is being used as a voltage reference, not a lamp, a blue wouldn't work as it has a voltage drop of about 3V, not 1.7V

It would be more "Pass appropriate", however...

I made up for that by putting a nice blue one in the front of the enclosures of the Pearl and the PSU (hopefully the exact right wavelength ;-) )

Can I measure total capacitance in an RCA interconnect cable using a Fluke DMM?
