OK to run an RC filter on the output of my F3?

I'm trying out a pair of RC networks on the outputs of my F3. They are similar to the Walker Audio High Definition Links, or Dakiom products. I'm doing this to tame the upper frequencies of my AKG K1000s. The RC networks sound great with the system but they seem to make the amp run a bit hotter. Pardon the expression, but is this cool to do? The RC filter basically adds a capacitive load to the F3. But as good as it sounds, I don't want to damage the amp.

Thanks
