Dear all,
I'm going to use Dale's (Brian's layout) Aleph2 driver board for an Aleph5. However, I found C7 and C9 connection (also R21 & C10) in Aleph5 schematic is different from Aleph2. Can I still use it to build Aleph5? Please guide me how to do if any modification need to be done. Thanks in advance. Yours, Wallace |

The difference in the capacitors has been discussed before on other threads.
Different values of C7(ce) in Alephs The A2 Schematic is newer than the A5 schematic, and the Volkamp 30 and 60 are a combo of the 2. I think R16, R21, and R19 need to be the Aleph 5 values. The 7 positions for the output resistors will need to be something like 4 .47ohm, or 6 .68ohm, or perhaps 5 .5 ohm. With the correct Rail voltage it should work just fine |

Thank you for your reply. I 'll go ahead to use the way that A2 connecting C7 and C9 for a A5.
