Is their any difference between the circuits of the XA amps and the X amps,
or is it just to do with the biasing.
My understanding is, they are similar to a supersymetric Aleph 0, with 2 gain stages instead of 3 which the original Aleph 0 had

All I will add here is, GO FOR IT.
XA160.5 or XA200.5 will do the job. If you can afford it go with the XA200.5.
At least then you won't have to wonder about whether the XA200.5 would sound even better.

I thought inside the X200.5 were two 2kva trasformers instead a single 3kva

If we are talking about the XA200.5, there is only one transformer inside, that is because it is a mono-block.
You need two mono-blocks for stereo

I know I need a pair of monoblocks
For example each Treshold sa12 has 2 transformers

power amplifier X 600.5 or Xa 160.5 would please me a lot, somebody makes the comparison of its power amplifier
