Update

I have contacted Dale (harvardian) and he
agreed that we can use his layout,
He also told me that he have about 150 output boards left for sale. price is $3.00 ea plus shipping. so i think maybe we shall buy them from dale?

I am a little confused.. 200x500 mm is a really HUGE board!
Which PCBs should include such a board?

There are 5 on it (aleph 2ch, bls + 2 x psu).

It's cheaper to do a huge board and than cut it.

Sorry if the question might seem stupid :boggled:

but is the pcb for BLS is stereo?

PS How do you think to manage delivery of such big boards?
Or they are being cut before sending them?

You might want to change the power supply board.
The space there reserved for the heatsinks is way too small.
I put the biggest sink pissible on the boardand still the FET's reach boiling temperatures...... :cannotbe:

Yes, why not. We can save on shipping costs if we buy together.

Output boards

Yes we could buy some output boards from Harvadian together.

What about the other boards........ produce them in Poland?
I would prefer boards with metalization because they are better of quality especially when it comes to repair.

suits me fine, as I was just looking for pcbs for aleph 3/5 and BLS...

Andypairo, i forgot to say that the main pcb for bls is stereo and there are 2 psu boards for every channel

Sjerko, I will opt for metalization too

and produce the rest in poland as they seem to be cheap here

Hi ALEPH enthousiasts,

Did you guyz consider the ALEPH-X boards ?
I think they are available right now.

I have 4 Aleph-X boards but I'd also like to try BLS and since I have very few spare time getting good pcbs for cheap (here I also get 2 "regular" aleph boards) is highly recommended.

not a problem for e gerbers but plz give me few days to do tat cos i still havnt complete e gerber for soldermask. :scratch:

guys, i have trouble fitting all the stuff on 50*20 cm area take look at this files

we will have to consider spilting it into 2 smaller boards - i think that the optimal will be one for aleph and one for bls
i will contact the board house in monday

And last what about buying output boards from dale ?

Hi all,

Dale's outputboards are fine with me.
We can get a good price from Dale so i think this is a good choice.

In my Aleph I didn't use any output board, only a universal board.
I bet some people would go P2P, so in my opinions output boards are less necessary than the others

; but if they are cheap...

Hello!

First Big sorry for being little inactive
last days - i really had a big bunch of work to do

bu there is a good news i called those two companies and send them semi final layout for quotation

i decided to split it into 2 parts one for bls and one for aleph so from now they are avialable separately!

boards will have 170u copper , silk screen , soldermask and will be one sided made from 2,4 mm fr-4 laminate
i decided to make the outputboards 4 cm as it will improve theraml managment

So from now please mail me wich boards (aleph or bls) you want and how many

i hope to post the prices tommorow
