Hi,

I currently finished my Aleph 60 and it sounds verrrry good!
There is a tight bass combined with much clarity.
My Pre-amp is unfortunatly not good, and build one from scratch, i'll try the BOSOZ.
These pictures where taken before I finished with the PCB.

The specs are..

-Dual mono block
-2X 625 VA Amplimo.. 2X25V
It is a rather small Aleph..the baseplate is 30x20cm
Height is 42x30cm..
It weighs 37kg
There is almost no hum, only when you put your ear very close to the speaker.
Capacitance per channel is 130.000uF... BC caps at 105C
All Silverwire connected.
The temp is bearable I can touch it for more than 7 seconds. (not measured it yet)
More questions? feel free to ask ofcourse;)

Hi,

It is a real mirror.., from Xenos;)
I drilled holes in it.. it shines very good..
The front side are also mirrors.. wich give a nice blue effect when turned on..(also seen on tweaked computercases)
The back is stainless steel, wich is still with lots of scratches:bawling:
Polishing that will be later on.
The cheapest part were the heatsinks:devily:
I got lucky with the price, the total was about 500,- euro

Thanks

Hi,

I just measured the temparature of my amp, the environment temp is 23C and the amp gets 49 degrees.
I'm thinking about making holes on the baseplate, for ventillation, bescause with the glass plate it gets hot in inside, wich isn't good for the capacitors.
My source is one the first sony cd-players (but tweaked):dead: , and needs an upgrade.
I bought the DAC PCB from Pquadrat
and this is my next project. I only need an digital out for the player.
My music style is almost everything.. The Prodigy (very tight bass)
The Offspring, Tory Amos, etc.
The speakers isn't very dependant on this amp, you will hear defenitly differences. The impedance of my speakers are 6 ohm and 80 Watts, wich is more than enough.

And thanks Nelson (a real honour to hear it from you),
I will send you the pictures and a story to you soon.
