I don't think so. And if the sonic quality is according to the expectations (also in the relation of the linearity), this beast could be translate in a special integrated circuit design comparable to the M.E.T (LAPT) bjt versions mentioned about
bipolar (bjt) transistor families for audio power output stages
for serial production.
For me such a design could be an integrated circuit outline like the SANYO STK-Series or SANKEN's MT-100 (2SC2922) design - pictures are to see about
Thick Film Hybrid (not monolithic) Integrated Circuit Amplifier - Overview and
Counterfeit Transistors
read also my post #44 - the mentioned design with preamp tubes for an power amp there is actually the same basic idea.

I'm definitely looking forward to the reports on the results

I will definitely build it. Even if it takes years. I'm also looking forward to the front end.

(Oh, this always present little humming in my head, that I normally consider as some kind of modulated cosmic background radiation, started whispering to me: "Grail Amp! Grail Amp!" Shut up, Buddy! )

By insane, I ment by the number of devices and realization; using "awesomely" just in front, I meant that this is a great project That's all, so don't misunderstand English's not my primary language, so I might not be clear in all cases. Hope the smiley was however

I definitely support this project

I understood exactly what you were saying.

Insane, awesome, sick, are all positives in my book.

I believe it is intended to rhyme and goes more like: "The difference between men and boys is in the price of their toys."
