Bench testing a SA/4e

While bench testing this amplifier which is owned by a friend,

http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/auc....ran&1251682027

I noticed some strange things.

One of them was that the clipping point was relatively indistinct. Another was that continuous sine wave power at 20 Hz seemed to be greater by far than it was at 1 KHz, even with a 2 ohm load.

What's normal for these?

Also, I noticed that schematics for these amps seem to be pretty rare. Since it seems to be so unusual, would there be a market for a reverse-engineered schematic?
