cviller board rev 1.0, has markings blacked out.
contrary to board markings using my meter it would appear the proper orientation of a ZTX550/ZTX450 in Q5/Q6 http://www.diodes.com/datasheets/ZTX550.pdf http://www.diodes.com/datasheets/ZTX450.pdf would be like this?? ![]() ![]() but not sure... can someone with experience advise me? Don't want to solder till i'm 100% thanks for your help. tal |

You are right, CViller's board is footprinted for BCS transistors which has the opposite orientation of the ZTX transistors. It's mentioned in his F5 build guide. Also, you might want to remove the current limit circuit which includes these transistors after you get it working. It sounds better.
