It successfully to using Wadia with variable output and Pass X250 or is better when has pre amp in system?

if Wadia have enough juice (read - volts) then you don't need preamp

Mine has enough juice to drive a Lowther by itself.

The Wadia can output up to 4.25V, and has an output impedance of less then 15 ohms. So I'm pretty sure it will drive the X250 where ever it wants to go. Personally, I love the Wadia players direct to amp. Recently heard Wadia 781i > X250.5 > MG 20.1, probably the most enjoyable 90 min. I've ever spent listening to recorded music.
