Hi !
Can i use 2 25 V tereoids for an aleph 3 ? Or is it too much with the voltage? They will probably run hotter than with 18 Volts. I'm using 2 haetsinks, 0.3 C/W each for stereo. Would it be enough heatsinking? thanks in advance, garnex |

You can do it, but then you have more like an A5.. And your HS will be above 60'C.... I'm using 18VAC in mine and 2*0,25C/W HS -> a little more comfortable at about 50'C

Well, I did exactly the same mistake and ended up with +-30V and 80C on the heatsinks... But after all, it may be not that bad: I will put some chokes to form CLC, lower the voltage and the ripple
Regards, M.
