Hello everybody:
I have just discoverd about the DIY audio scene a couple of weeks ago. I am thinking of building my PASS phono + pre + power or monoblocks. I will also build my speakers around the amplifiers I end up building (Probably from E-speakers.com). Which is in your experience the best phono + pre + power one can build at home? (I currently have a Sugden A21 pure class A 25 w integrated amp that I will sell after I finish my project. Anyone interested in it?) Thanks for the help! B

Wow, a loaded question!
If your Pre Amp doesn't have a phono section, why not start off with the Pearl Phono. you need to just read a million posts and check out the PassDIY web site... i don't know, what's your level of electronics skillz? I'd say if your not on the guru side of the fence you could do a lot worse than the Pearl, BZLS, and Zen Ver. 4. All of these projects have well written documentation and tons of posts on this forum answering just about every question. Pearl = Phono Pre Amp BZLS = Pre Amp Zen Ver. 4 = Amp moe29 ---------- Beck rocks |
