Nelson Pass and N.E.W. Amps?

Don't know if this would be the right forum, so excuse me if not...new here.

I've often read that Nelson Pass had a hand in the design of the N.E.W. amps, but I've never actually seen any confirmation of such...is it true or just a Fairy Tale by someone trying to sell a piece of electronics?

The amplifiers are loosely based on the A40 design, but I disavow
connection to the products.

I can't understand exact role of D3 and R13 in A40 yet.
Limiting max bias current . . . ?

They set the bias current value. I believe I invented this circuit, and
I note that Sloan presents it without attribution.

Yesterday a Korean newspaper reported about the "patent troll", referring to InterDigital and Intellectual Ventures (IV) and patent war fields in IT markets . . .

Back to the D3 and R13 . . . Dammit . . . my head is still out of focus . . . At present I could see them as a current feedback, at best, vaguely . . . I will try to sweat into focusing.

Thanks Nelson, that was my guess (or something to that extent) but didn't know for sure...every seller out there has your name all over their ad's.

We had emphasized the "name values" in the discussions with companies . . . and what should be contents inside . . .
