Hi all,
My name is Artem, I'm from Ukraine. I have built one channel of Zen4. When I try to use Zen4 with my Dynaudio Contour 1.1, I listen that: high is very good, middle is simple good, bass is (like for me) not enough. Integrally sound is very nice, better then my Onkyo receiver I think, main reasons for poor bass are low sensitive (86dB) and low resistance (4 Ohm) of Dynaudio speaker. This speaker is very hard for lot of amplifiers. What is the best Zen amplifier for "hard" acoustic system (low sensitive and low resistance): Aleph3, Aleph 30/40/75, AlephX, ..... Please, advise! |

Some of these are not Zens.

It depended on what version you built. The original version with
maximum open loop and feedback was probably a couple hundred, although I don't see that in the article.
