If your source has under 2k output impedance, it can drive the 20k pot. More non needed circuitry isn't good economy neither for the pocket nor for the resolution.

I haven't tried it yet but I am thinking in ordering one. Don't know about resistor's quality, I wouldn't expect them to be high-end, just plain standard resistors. But for that price, it's difficult not to try it.

Normal resistors, but switch was - PCB with slide contact, I don't think it may last long in normal quality. Anyone opened this Ebay pot? |
