What happen, if I solder short wire from -OUT (input stage of circuit) to ground and from -IN (output stage of the circuit) to ground? Will be result the same as with unbalanced Bride of zen?
I am asking this question, because I want to build a balanced DAC in the future, but now I am using unbalanced CD player and power amp. |

It will work fine, but there is no particular
need to short the output. |

Thank you, mr Pass for advice.
I"ve got very good potentiometer, which is made by Alps and rated at 25 kohm. Should I put it on input or output of the zen balanced circuit? |

Probably input. 25K is a bit high for output, since
the output impedance will max out at about 6K ohm |
