R1, R8 in Aleph 30

I intend to build the Aleph 30, but cannot understand the fucntion of R1 and R8.

It seems to me that R1 might be used to tune offset voltage at the output?

R8 appears at 2 places.

Both are printed without value on the schematics.

Anyone can help to explain to me the function, and how to use these when I build the Aleph 30.
