The fancy collar is to make it easy for the average person to see that he is Irish...typical Irish Celtic pattern. Often mistaken to be a rather finer version of a Standard Poodle....which has similar but not so developed traits.
[The IWS is an extremely demanding, hyper-active, mentally alert, agile, difficult to train and manage gun dog which excels at goose and duck work. Mostly they just wear you out and are a PITA.]

Thomas the last pill goes in the other end. It helps with one of the side effects.

Yup - that wuz the 1st thing that I spotted - but it must be very early in the day when that photo wuz taken because doggy iz still able to stand....
