We had the opening of our 2014 salmon fishing here in the Tweed river on Saturday.

The Swedish visitor in green below caught the only salmon for the day in a very flooded and dirty river. Very bad conditions. .

The other three guys are also Swedish and the guy on the left caught the first salmon of both 2013 and 2012!! They are all VERY good fishermen and nice guys....but don't tell Stajo.

Early ninetys in Belfast was a strange sight. McDonalds and Armoured vehicles, flashy hotels next to total slum. 19 year old cammo-painted british troopers and toothless drunks.

I liked the countryside more. Didnt understand a word but the gestures was friendly.
