....and a couple of elastic bands. I bet it is likely to beat a Thorens 'consumer' arm hands down!!! And - as you rightly point out - some real money has gone into making it!

The hunting pic? Yes...bit over processed, but it was very dark when I took it....last Wednesday - about a mile from my house. [Old Nikon D200 + 35-70, 2.8. ]

I'm sure that there iz some sort of resonance damping involved with the rubber band. I wonder how long it might take to adjust things az to size of band and number of wraps tho.
