Greetings from Sea Ranch.

I just connected via a new wireless modem.

So I'm sitting at a folding table next to an inflatable bed
with Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (classic) playing on an
LCD panel sitting on the floor.

Bliss...

The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
That old Infocom text-based adventure including an (almost empty) plastic bag containing a microscopic battle fleet as an additional content to the game?

I have veeery bad news for you, Floyd. You know, once upon a time there were strange piles of paper with lots of letters on it which you could read without your Acrobat Reader. They were called books. One of those was The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

Douglas Adam also was a very keen music lover; he had some 15 years - 20 years ago a big audio system based I think on Linn+SP10/11! The book was a best-seller for a very long time.......some people on here ARE young!!

I am AMAZED that on a forum dedicated to audio, no-one has pointed out that before it was a a TV series, film or book, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was a radio series... This was also the best form of all of them, IMHO. It may be available for download...

Maybe I'll do a search...

Cheers
Nigel
