Quite a few Buddhist traditions are based on debate - Tibetan Buddhism and Zen Buddhisms are examples.
Tibetan Buddhist monks go to university and debate all day.

Anyway I wasn't debating just stating a fact.
I agree though that debating is often a waste of time.

My dear friend!
I had no intention of generating debate in connection with Buddha.
I just wanted to highlight a different meaning to me, Buda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and Gautama Buddha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
But actually it is not clarified, the Buddha or Budha, of whom we speak.

It's not ridiculous.
Anyway, by carrying out further research I found this:
Budai - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Budai in Hungarian meaning is someone who is from Buda.
I mean this is a family name, his meaning, individual coming from Buda.
