Xono Mc loading question

Hi,

Mine friend has a Xono +X1+ X250. Rega Planar 9 with Dynavector 17 Karat mk2 with standard factory configuration sound bad.
He want change the loading of the cartridge.
From my past experience I know that 17karat sound better with very high loads.
manual says:
"MC cartridge loading ranges from 5 to 1000 ohms to 47 Kohms using
eight switches with binary weigthing and providing 256 different values"

Understood, photos are explicative but Is it the max value 1K or 47 K?

If you leave all eight switches open, you get 47k input impedance.
The next lower possible value is 1k paralleled with 47k, wich is virtually 1k.

Excuse me Holger, "all switches open", do you mean all "ON", the side with 1,2 ,3 ,4,5, 6 ,7, 8 ? Am I right? Just to be sure, perdone me

"Open" means "off", with the corresponding resistors disconnected.
