Default BOAK Power Supply ?

I heard from someone that a regulated power supply would improve the sound of my completed A40's
He told about a BOAK design.
Does anyone know this design or has a usefull link ???

I searched the net for an hour or so but have not found anything yet. So.... if anyone has anything.. let me know

James Boak wrote a construction article for that power supply in
Audio Amateur (now audioXpress) January 1980. I still have it.
