Hi,

I'm posting here since some have built their P1.7
with the Dantimax 1K balanced Attenuator.

Mikkel is overloaded and does not respond for weeks.
I would appreciate your help.

I'm getting what seems to be opposite behavior
on the output of the Rel3. Full Counter Clockwise on
the rotary encoder gives me about 400ohms. Full
Clockwise gives me 1.1K.

it should measure at full counter clockwise 1.1K and full clockwise
0 ohms, correct?

All resistors were measured before stuffing. It's a simple board I know.

Thanks for your help.

I think you get the correct results, given:

Fully clockwise: all resistors are bypassed, including all shunting resistors. This means you should read approximately the output load resistor.

Fully counter clockwise: all resistors are in the loop. Giving parallell resistans across the output load resistor will give you a lower readout on the output.

thanks for replying.

I'll put a signal in it later tonight and see what's on the output.

it does not seem to make sense though.
Should it not be 1.1K at full counter clockwise since you want full attenuation. as you turn clockwise, less attenuation, louder volume.

also, it does not go down to zero ohms but lowest is 400ohms.
