BTW, a pair of the the cascoded LU1014 a al ZV9 will make a simple yet excellent Circlotron Follower.

Anyone wanting to build one of these should do so soon. The 2SJ74 was discontinued at the start of the year. Some of the distributors will have them in stock for another year or so, but after that they will become very difficult to find.
