Hi all.
I've recently bought a pre Pass XP-20. According to your experience which is the best gain to choose (2 or 12 dB) matching XP-20 with Pass X250.5? The two output behind power supply are the same or one is preferable to the other? Thanks a lot Giuseppe PS Mr. Pass, why it's not possible to switch gain from remote control? I found for a few days the X1 and I appreciate so much his wide remote control possibilities and preamp settings. |

It depends on the voltage available from your source. I would suggest using the lower gain setting if it allows you to get sufficient listening volume. You might also try listening to see if one setting has subtle sound quality differences.
