Which Idss classification is best for Pass Ono, GR or BL? This is for the MC stage. Which classification is best for general work? I plan on building the Ono but also some other phono stages.

NP uses the BL variety.
I bought 2 sets of matched 2SK170BL's and 2SK389BL's for my Ono phonostages from Erno. He is a very nice guy and offers excellent service. Sometimes he answers the phone himself. Why don't you give him a call? |

You can put the GRs in paralell if you need to get the transconductance up. Yeah, the bandwidth will be a bit less, but there are ways around that, too.
