Threshold SA

I would like to know why the "Output Stage" of Threshold SA, use the "C" output instead of "E" ?

More power, more Class A, more output stage. This is a "one schematic
fits all" document.

May I know is it better to use "E" output with "today's high power transistor" ?

I have not played with this design since 1991, so I am hesitant to speculate on that.
