iron=Fe,
Are you referring to tin plated steel strip?
Two more pics:
The chassis cut outs were punched. Chassis dimensions are 25x25x16 cm and was made here http://www.mali-sp.si/index.php?stran=lang&l=en based on my design. All in all I am satisfied, but the details are less accurate than I wished them to be. Maybe with two or three more phone calls... Mali can make excelent chssis but all depends from $.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Gema: Beautiful amplifiers all around...you should be very proud.
I would love it if you could share details on the power supply with schematics if possible.
Details of how you have configured the A30 for mono would also be great.
I am planning to embark on an identical mono A30 (A60?) project.

The power supply is basically taken from KRISTIJAN KLJUCARIC web page here http://www.kk-pcb.com/power-3.html My elcos are 10 mF per piece and the value of the coils is somewhat lower because I removed some windings by hand. Where power lines are fitted on the main board I also put elcos and by-passed it. You can find good reading about power supplies for solid state here http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/ssps1_e.html
And there is nothing to configure for mono. You just take one channel and put it in a single box…

How did you choose the value of these decoupling caps...?
Manu
Thank you for the power supply info Gema.
My mistake on the mono question, I had assumed that you bridged the two channels of the A30 to make an A60!

How much did it cost to build one?
The links both work if you remove the "." from the end of the address.
