I am buildling BOZ using audioexpress pcb but i have some doubts. I apologize in advance if these question are obvious.
(1) TIP and 610 installation on the board are not obvious as both transistors are 3 pins. The boards are 2 pin + thru-hole. I understand that using thru-hole with connect drain but what do you do with actual pin 2 on the device (i.e. cut it off)? (2) What is the correct kind of heatsink required for this application (i.e. Q1, Q101, Q201)? Thanks in advance for your help. Pathmark |

I used a bolt&nut&washer to fasten the small heat sink to the transistor... that way the 3rd pin is connected , through the bolt, to the housing of the trannie to the PCB track..
The heatsink must be U-shaped, about as big as your thump... goodluck, Thijs |
